Few things under the heavens are as instructive as silence. Serenity is the master of restlessness.

Adam's dream is to create a model of community based sufficiency where living and learning are entwined within nature.  The generic aim is to emulate the ease at which nature meets its needs by creating a place where to meet our own.  Each physical element - habitations, greenhouses, animals, trees, etc - will be designed, constructed and planted to function as one system where they all work with and benefit each other. Thus Tao Valley will be an organic living being that provides for the needs of the people here and responds to the ever changing environment,

There is more specific detail to this vision and this includes ambitious project development staged over the course of the next 5 years. In that time my intention is to:

• Build several small earth-bag domes and straw-bale tiny houses for up to 15 people;
• Plant a food forest of 200 trees, with a strong emphasis on maximising diversity;
• Construct a bio-dome for all-year round tropical food production;
• Regenerate the local forests with fire-retardant species such as oak trees;
• Manage the waterways and maximise the harvest of rainwater to optimise local climate stability;
• Collaborate with other local projects to create a giving economy based on skills and surplus, not reliant upon centrally governed currency;
• Establish a charitable fund to support other pioneers to establish their own sustainable communities.
